For parents

It costs nothing

Lessons, music, the bus to concerts and the summer camp are free. The Körköm Foundation pays the teachers and the bus.

The uniform

White shirt, navy trousers or skirt, black shoes. The choir gives every child the red scarf and the badge at their first concert; please wash the scarf by hand.

What to bring

  • A bottle of water, never fizzy
  • A pencil for marking the music
  • A snack for after, not before

Collecting your child

We hand children only to the adults named on the card you fill in at the first rehearsal. If someone else is coming, call the teacher.

Moving up

Starters move to the juniors at nine and the juniors to the seniors at twelve, when the teacher says they are ready. Nobody is ever asked to leave because of their voice.
